Disadvantages of chromebooks.

Disadvantageous features

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Apps are mostly web apps which

can only be used with internet connectivity.Few applications run offline.

Chrome webstore has only 30 apps available offline with minimal

capabilities as they depend on the web. This is just less than 1% of

the total 33000 apps available.

Windows sofware cannot run on Chromebooks. This is because Chrome OS

does not allow installation of windows in developer mode or any

execution of windows files(.exe,.rar,.zip e.t.c.).

Windows software like microsoft office can only be run via Wine which

can be run if you have Ubuntu installed. However, the software may not

necessarily run well but may do so if you use virtual machines.

Virtual machines require large disc space and can only run on newer

processors such as intel. They also have higher capabilities as they

are not limited to the number of windows software they can instal.

Playing games can be tricky as most games are by default built for

windows. However the games are available in the Chrome webstore for

playing online.

Offers USB 2.0 which is much slower than USB 3.0.

Conclusion

'''''''''''''''''

Faster in running web apps but cannot handle windows apps.

Flying cars?Skycar

The skycar is an invention developed in 2009 by the skycar expedition team. The team included aviation engineer, Gilo Cardozo, a reknowned paraglider and inventor of parajet. He is also known for successfully flying to Mount Everest in his Wankel rotary-powered Parajet. It is an improvement of the balloon car. Cardozo explained, "the skycar can move from road mode to flymode in 3minutes." ZIt could take off after attaining an average speed of 35mph when switched to fly mode. The Skycar was to be different from other flying cars through its method of staying aloft. In the prototype stages, the vehicle used a similar method of flight as Cardozo's Parajet -- a parawing that is force-fed with air by a large fan. The fan was driven by a 140-horsepower Yamaha sportbike engine. The team said that an air speed of 100 mph was possible at an altitude of 2,000 to 3,000 feet. It was expected to accelerate from 0-60mph in 45 seconds. The team made its test flight between London and Tumuk...

What is new in android 6.0 marshmallow?

Android is an amazing OS developed by google. What I like about the OS is the constant updates and new features. Lets have a sneak Preview. Features Android Marshmallow provides native support for fingerprint recognition on supported devices via a standard API, allowing third-party applications to implement fingerprint-based authentication. Fingerprints can be used for unlocking devices and authenticating Play Store and Android Pay purchases. Android Marshmallow supports USB Type-C, including the ability to instruct devices to charge another device over USB. Marshmallow introduces new power management schemes known as "Doze" and "App Standby"; when running on battery power, a device will enter a low-power state if it is inactive and not being physically handled. In this state, network connectivity and background processing is restricted, and only "high-priority" notifications are processed. A new "Assist" API allows information from a currently-op...
